2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the UN Resolution “Transforming our World: The 2030 Agenda,” which launched global efforts on sustainable development. It is at this important moment that the Association of Sustainable Development Experts (ASDE), together with the Ukrainian Financial Sustainability Alliance (USFA) and partners, initiate the first national award in Ukraine dedicated to recognizing leaders in sustainable development — Sustainable Impact Award 2025.

Sustainable Impact Award 2025

— an award for businesses and experts who make a significant contribution to the sustainable development of Ukraine. It honors leaders whose initiatives strengthen the economy, promote social progress, and preserve the environment.

Agenda

30 October 2025

  • This panel will discuss how these global changes impact Ukraine’s economy and how the country can adapt to new realities. Additionally, it will explore how global trends in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas could reshape Ukraine’s economic policy and create new opportunities for its future development.

  • This panel focuses on the impact of high investor expectations, war-related risks, and regulatory changes on businesses’ access to capital. It will discuss the differences in financing opportunities for large companies versus SMEs, supply chain challenges, as well as the barriers and tools that shape real access to investment.

  • Human capital represents a critical strategic resource for Ukraine's post-war recovery and sustainable development. Speakers will emphasize how investment in human capital can serve as the cornerstone for establishing innovative sectors, modernizing industry, and generating new employment opportunities.

Furthermore, initiatives designed to support veterans, individuals with disabilities, and youth will be examined, as they have the potential to serve as catalysts for sustainable development. This panel will serve as a platform for exchanging experiences and identifying solutions that will assist Ukraine in transforming human capital into a formidable catalyst for recovery and growth in the post-war era.

  • This discussion will focus on the role of social capital, local communities, and active communities in the recovery and sustainable development of Ukraine. The focus will be on how local initiatives, business associations, civic organizations, and communities themselves can create tangible changes in society.
